#25 TIME (September 14, 2001)
The magazine cover of the September 14, 2001, special edition of TIME features a photograph of the two hijacked airliners ripping through the World Trade Center towers on September 11, 2001, taken by photographer Lyle Owerkoof. The issue included testimonies from survivors, more photographs of the Twin Towers after the bombings, and a salute to all those who perished in the tragedy.

This is my favorite, and I think this is a great cover because it is clean and neat, only one picture one title and one date. This will make us remember everything happened that day.

  Bonfire Night Horse ride

  On November 5th, James Smith fearlessness rides a horse in the roaring fires to celebrate the death of the Guy Fawkes at Bonfire Night in England.

In November 1605, the infamous Gunpowder Plot took place in which some Catholics plotted to blow up the English Parliament and King James l, on the day set for the king to open Parliament. The men were angry because the king had treated them badly and they didn't like it.

The story is remembered each 5th November when 'Guys' are burned in a celebration known as "Bonfire Night".

 Monk on Fire

  A young Tibetan monk ZhangYu burned himself Monday in protest against Chinese rule in Tibetan-populated areas and demanding the return of Tibet's spiritual leader the Dalai Lama.

 
  The self-immolation came more than a month after a Tibetan father of two burned himself to death in Sichuan province to protest against Chinese policies in late September.

Rhino transported

  On Sunday, a rare black rhino Ray is airlifted by helicopter as part of a WWF conservation campaign to protect the species from poachers.

  The relocation, one of 10 which took place in the KwaZulu-Natal region of eastern South Africa, comes just days after the Western Black rhino, a subspecies of the black Rhino, was officially declared extinct after last being seen in 2006.

Lines

  A continuous mark made on a surface by a moving point; it may be flat (pencil line) or three-dimensional.

  This line divide the space and volume they are in. At the same time, they can unite and tie elements together.

 Rule of Thirds

  Imagine that your image is divided into 9 equal segments by 2 vertical and 2 horizontal lines. The most important elements in your scene along these lines, or at the points where they intersect, which is the person in the photo, doing this will add balance and interest to the photo.

 Repeating

  Those rain drops create interest, movement, and harmony and unity. Rhythms can be random, regular, alternating, flowing, and progressive. Classes of pattern include mosaics, lattices, spirals, meanders, waves, symmetry and fractals, among others.

Simplify

Having too much going on in your frame can me the person who's looking at it will just keep searching it for a point of focus and soon get bored of looking when they can't find one. This photo also have a great background, which is all clean, neat, and nice.

 Frame

The picture with many grass, leaves and trees, which makes a perfect natural frame. By placing these around the edge of the composition, it helps you to isolate the main subject from the outside world. The result is a more focused image which draws your eye naturally to the main point of interest.
