only 1 story in front page is my favorite
The things that is similar in most newspapers is the font, the thing that is different is the pictures and all the sections putted.

best magazine covers of 2013 and the last 40 Years

#25 TIME (September 14, 2001)
The magazine cover of the September 14, 2001, special edition of TIME features a photograph of the two hijacked airliners ripping through the World Trade Center towers on September 11, 2001, taken by photographer Lyle Owerkoof. The issue included testimonies from survivors, more photographs of the Twin Towers after the bombings, and a salute to all those who perished in the tragedy.
This is my favorite, and I think this is a great cover because it is clean and neat, only one picture one title and one date. This will make us remember everything happened that day.

Magazine Essential Parts

Selling line
Short, sharp description of the title's main marketing point.

Cover lines
run over an image that has a lot of color changes, rendering the words difficult to read.

Bar code
Standard bar code used by retailers.

Left third
vital for sales in shops where the magazine is not shown full-frontage.

Masthead
The name of the magazine displayed in a specific typeface.

Dateline
Month and year of publication, often with the price.

Main image
The image is used in a classic way, the face is big enough to stand out on the news-stand, with the model making full eye-contact.

Model credit
The photographer and model credit is usually on the contents page  .

Main cover line
This is very large - taking up almost a quarter of the magazine cover - and comes in three layers, each with a different color.
